WHO WE ARE TODAY
Currently our organization is a loose knit 7-member committee of local clay artists/supporters dedicated to seeing the Tour continue as support for our community.
In brief our current goals are:
To create an environment that inspires and enriches our diverse local/regional area clay community.
To foster creativity, economic vitality, and collaboration.
To increase public awareness and access to the diverse array of clay artisans, studios and galleries in the area.
Long-term we would like to create an organization with social as well as business gatherings, posting events, promoting each other's works, hosting workshops
We strive to be positive, inclusive, open and transparent.
OUR VISION
We would like to see this endeavor grow and establish itself as something more structured and self-sustaining. To that end we need volunteers willing to share in that vison.
OUR NEEDS
We would love to have volunteers with a diverse range of talents and time to devote to next year’s tour and to establishing an organization. We are limited in funds and funding so any level of involvement will help us grow and establish.
We would also welcome any pro-bono legal assistance that will help us create an organization that sponsors the tour as the point of fundraising as well as a support system for our local clay artists.
